Boccia is the Paralympic version of Bocce and is a sport of control and accuracy that can be played by anyone. Originally designed for people with severe cerebral palsy, it is now enjoyed by players with a wide variety of disabilities. Played individually, in pairs or teams, each side is given six balls, either red or blue, with the objective to throw balls as close as possible to the white target ball to earn points. This will be a social, recreational, drop in program for people of all abilities and skill levels to learn and practice the fundamental skills and strategies of Boccia. All ages are welcome.
