Introduction to Mending

Join us for 3 Sunday mornings of relax and repair. The art of repairing and extending the life of your favorite garments. Explore a variety of mending techniques, including patching holes, darning worn areas, repairing seams, replacing buttons, and both visible and invisible mending methods. Bring clothing, linens, sheets or other textiles and household items that need repair, and receive guidance on how to restore and personalize them. Whether you are new to sewing or looking to build confidence in garment repair, this class will provide practical skills you can use every day. Back to the basics. Materials and basic supplies will be provided. A beginner's sewing kit will be available for purchase for $15. Additional notions, patches, thread, and other supplies will be available for purchase starting at $5. Drop in available - $42/day.
