Adult Pottery - Beginner and Intermediate

A fun and inspiring class that introduces participants to basic pottery making techniques and reinforces knowledge of materials and tools. The class will begin with guided projects in slab, coil, and pinch pot building and move on to wheel work and surface treatment. The focus of this class is to develop familiarity with the clay and begin to understand the chemistry of glazes and surface treatment. Please bring your own apron and towel. Purchase clay at the first class. No class Sep 30 and Nov 11.
