Aloha! Start at the very beginning with Master Kumu Hula Paul Tavai-Latta of Tavai's Polynesia Canada (est. 1968) in this exclusive Hawaiian & Polynesian mixed dance class. Learn the history of Hawai’i through the Hula the Language of Hawai’i Traditional Chants to Modern Hulas, to the challenging drum dances of Tahiti it’s all in this easy step by step class. A perfect blend of exercise, fitness, co-ordination, form, grace, and education, language, culture, customs, and fun! Dancers can work towards participating in full costume in annual festivals, performances, competitions with the Paul Tavai-Latta Polynesian Dance Company.
