Indigenous Hand Drum Making Workshop

Join Indigenous artist Sabian for a hands-on cultural workshop where you'll create your own 10" natural deerhide hand drum on a laminated maple frame using a technique designed to be accessible for youth and Elders alike. Along the way, you'll learn to weave a dream catcher, hear the stories and teachings connected to both creations, and leave with a handcrafted drum and a deer leather drumstick made by the instructor.
